Combermere Abbey

Wedding Photography Combermere Abbey Shropshire.

This wedding, well. We were blessed with the sunshine and the heat. Caitlyn and Dan became Mr & Mrs on what we think was the hottest day of the year, or it certainly felt like that. Caitlyn got ready with her bridal party at the entrance lodge to Combermere Abbey and it was just perfect, big windows, quaint little rooms, and lots and lots of light - as a photographer I can't tell you how much I adore natural light when shooting bridal prep.

While Caitlyn was getting ready, Ant took the boys to play tennis - as you do on the morning of your wedding! Then as the guests arrived into the grounds - it takes a while as Combermere Abbey has quite a long drive - and everyone took their seats, Caitlyn made her way down what I call the bridal avenue and I always love shooting the bridal party walking.

They exchanged vows in Combermere's Glass house and then flooded out into the gardens to enjoy cocktails and canapés, again the perfect environment for us to do what we do best and just mingle and shoot. That really was the theme of the day as the weather meant that this wedding felt so much like it was being held in a secret garden with lawn games for all, fizz for the ladies and sweet treats for the children.

Anyway, check out a selection of images from their day below.
