Bellefields Farm

Wedding Photography at Bellefields Farm Cheshire.

Where to start with this wedding. Liddy & John got in touch with us after we’d captured their nieces wedding a couple of years ago. Their day was a celebration rather than a wedding, they chose to get married at a small intimate affair before we joined them to celebrate their day back at Bellefields.

We arrived at the farm accompanied by rain, not just a drizzle or a quick shower a torrential down pour that looked like it wasn’t going to stop - ever! Liddy and the girls her daughters and nieces got ready together over looking the guests arriving and being transported by tractors down the field where the celebrations were taking place. While I was with the girls, Ant was at the field, armed with wellies and an umberella capturing everyone enjoying the day awaiting the arrival of the bride. Liddy and John opted for a humanist ceremony, allowing those who had come to join them the feel of a ceremony and yes this did take place outside. Liddy and John both were adamant that, outside was what they had planned and whatever the weather that’s where it was happening and within minutes of the bride arriving, the rain stopped and guests headed outside to witness one of the most beautiful ceremony’s we’ve ever seen.

This wedding was everything a farm or marquee wedding should be, it’s the sort of wedding you see on Pinterest and aspire to want and that’s a credit to the couple themselves and the guests for embracing what this was - Mud, Rain, Wellies, Umberella’s, wet hair, wedding outfits hidden by waterproof jackets, flat caps and glorious comfort food, sausage rolls and pork pies - This day was just Liddy & John all over!
